The 22-year-old London native, a protégé of DJ Mustard, is in every sense a modern R&B singer, a naturally gifted vocalist at ease in the contemporary trappings of electronic-driven trip-hop production yet still capable of transcending the arrangements to muster the kind organic, voice-centered soul reminiscent of R&B from decades ago.
